This is a picture I did for Akon this past year. Sadly NO ONE liked it. But I go no end of grief because it didn’t look exactly like the CHARACTERS! Damn guys I totally think this looks cooler and well guess what. IT’S MY TAKE ON THE SERIES. You don’t like the style to bad. I like it. It is different and well it’s ME. I have decided not to try and COPY the exact style of artist just to make quick buck. So if you don’t like it I really don’t care all that much.

Man I am really never this angry but people just tend to push my buttons when they are only into something and not open to new form of the design or just having an artist express him/her self. If you want something to look exactly like the series go buy something by the artist.

no one liked it?? i can't believe it!!! what the heck??? I'm all for fanart in the artist's own style, and geez, i can't understand why other people AREN'T! It's still obviously Ed and Winry, so what's people's problem??
Winry's dress is lovely, by the way. I love hawaiian prints soooo muchhhhhhhhh =)

I honestly don't understand why people would be complaining... I really like this... very well drawn, as well as a great concept! Just let any negative comments roll off your back, because this is great! Thanks for posting it :)

I like seeing characters in the style of different artists. I think this is cool. Ed look older and quite charming. :) I'm sorry that there were so many silly, unimaginative and uneducated people.

People are silly, I like your take on it. The style is true to you, but they still look like them. I like the pose too, it shows a equal companionship, maybe I'm just being cheesy but it looks to me like "You support me and I'll hold you up." This is also why I'm sort of hesitant to attempt commission stuff, people get an image in their head and nothing in the world will shake it out.

Loving the pose as well as the look their eyes. The whole take is much more mature than the characters are used to looking.

People are stupid and get jealous when others can develop their own respective style and they can't.
